Ireland is a haven of unique historical sites, precious sites that have been left to us from our ancient ancestors from the depths of Irish history. Behind every site there is a treasure trove of myth and legend which have been passed down through the ages. ‘The Legend Seekers’ promises a tour of Ireland to the more unrecognized sites, forgotten about over time and in some instances, just too scary and uncomfortable for most people to experience.

The Legend Seekers consists of paranormal researcher and author Barry Fitzgerald (familiar to viewers from shows such as Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International) along with Cormac Strain, a Carlow based author and researcher.

Both Legend Seekers are committed to connecting Ireland’s history with its mystery. Accompanied by faithful canine companion Max, Barry and Cormac explore places of ancient Irish myth and lore that usually even the locals don’t know about.  Fascinating tales of blood-drinking fairies, Islands of the Dead, mysterious drownings and Blood Gods are just a few of the Legends this plucky trio seek out for your enjoyment.

  • The Books

We are delighted to announced the arrival of the printed version of the first six Legend Seekers stories (The Legend Seekers Vol 1), where the team visit areas all over Ireland, looking for the history and mystery of the past.  The printed copy is available in paperback from HERE.  There is also an e-book series which started with The Island of The Dead and so far has continued with the Habitat of Merrow.  More will follow.
